About this event

Are you struggling with motivation or feeling disengaged from your thesis? Do you need help reconnecting with your research? Is your wellbeing impacting your progress? Would you like an opportunity to network with other HDR students? Then Thesis Fest is for you!

Thesis Fest is a hybrid event hosted by the Curtin University Library focused on supporting Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students with research skills and wellbeing.

Running on 27 & 28 June, the program is designed to help you re-engage with your research and to assist you in working towards final submission with confidence and success.

By attending, you will gain strategies and ideas to support you with both the progress of your research and your wellbeing. This will also be an opportunity to connect with other students sharing the same journey, as well as with people and support services at Curtin to help with your progression.

Details

This event will be held in person at on Level 7 of TL Robertson Library (B105), on Curtin University's Bentley campus. Enjoy a light lunch, coffee vouchers and door prizes.

Full-day sessions on 27 and 28 June run from 9am to 4pm.

In-person registrations will be limited and places will be given on a first-come first-served basis. Attendees may attend one or all days of the program.

If you are unable to attend in person, selected sessions will be available via livestream for those who book online livestream tickets.

Further information

If unwell, participants are to stay home and not attend. We encourage participants to wash hands regularly or use hand sanitiser as required, and to practice good hygiene at all times. If they choose, participants may also wear a mask.
